RX-24, nicknamed Rex, is a former pilot for a small tourism corporation that sold tours on the forest moon of Endor. The first galactic civil war included a battle on the moon that destroyed demand for the company's tours, and it folded. The droid has had a ever-changing series of owners, the most recent being the jedi master Jaime Thul, who left the droid with his Constellation-class Longranger ship on the planet Lannik.
